Merge Bulborb to Distant Planet[edit]

merge 6-1
There is a very simple reason why I want to merge this; it's a stage hazard, and all other stage hazards don't have articles. King Bulblin, Lord Bullbo, Tingle, Parasite Queen, Ultimate Chimera, Metal Gear RAY, and others are all merged to the stage they appear in, so why does this one have an article? No, Empress Bulblax's appearance in Smooth Moves is not enough to warrant an article. It's simply consistent to merge this.

Merge[edit]
- GreenDisaster (talk) I support my proposal.
- Zero777 (talk) We already merged
Fish with SummitRope Snake to Lucas, Gyro to R.O.B., and Chimera to New Pork City. We need to keep consistency. - Mercury Mech (talk) Per Zero777.
- Super Famicom 64 (talk) – Keeping consistency is what means a very well written article and no small articles (No, I'm not saying they're stubs.).
- Commander Code-8 (talk) Per all.
- New Super Yoshi (talk) Per all.
Oppose[edit]
- Raven Effect (talk) This breaks consistency the Empress played a major role in that microgame and zero we did the exact opposite of merging Fish with Summit [1]
Comments[edit]
@Raven Effect: It's a microgame. It's a little minigame in a subseries of a series. It doesn't matter if she plays a major role in it, it's still too minor. And what about all those other characters I mentioned? That's not even a full list. GreenDisaster 21:13, 30 March 2012 (EDT)
- They are only stage elements they play no role outside of SSB while the Bulborbs do they are playable in one of the microgames Raven Effect (talk)
- Like I said, it's too minor. We don't create articles for the characters in microgames. We don't create articles for the stage hazards on any of the stages. But together, they somehow get enough notability to earn articles? How does that work? GreenDisaster 21:21, 30 March 2012 (EDT)
- Because together they play a larger role then if they were apart Raven Effect (talk)
- No, together they play a role that's still too minor. A third person in this conversation would be nice. GreenDisaster 21:25, 30 March 2012 (EDT)

I'm inclined to say that, yeah, a blink-and-you-miss-it appearance in one microgame is not enough to establish that the Bulborbs are more "notable" stage hazard than the other things in SSBB. Beside, the regular Bulborbs (featured in Brawl) and the Empress Bulbax (Smooth Moves) are... different creatures, even if they're from the same species. As such, using one to justify an article for the others strikes me as pretty odd. --Glowsquid 11:22, 31 March 2012 (EDT)
