Merge with Mushroom Trampoline[edit]
Now that an official name has been found for "Bouncy Mushroom", should we merge it with Mushroom Trampoline? Even in different genres of the Mario series, they both serve the exact same function, so I feel we don't really need a proposal for this. Mario JC 02:48, 17 October 2016 (EDT)
Proposal: Merge with Mushroom Trampoline[edit]
This talk page proposal has already been settled. Please do not edit any of the sections in the proposal. If you wish to discuss the article, do so in a new header below the proposal. |
merge 13-0
This article was given a conjectural title "Bouncy Mushroom", but about two months ago, Toa 95 created the Mushroom Trampoline page with the official name found in the 3D World Prima guide. Because of this, I think this should be merged with the officially named object, as both share the same basic function of "bouncing the player upwards." (This article also mentions 3D Land and 3D World.) The only difference is appearance, but that shouldn't be a reason why they should remain separated.

- Nice finds. I was thinking about citing a few like "bouncy mushroom platform" as alternative names if we merge, but the thing is they all seem to refer to them in generic terms, and they're pretty inconsistent with it, too, even in the same guide. Mario JC 05:57, 31 October 2016 (EDT)
For your information[edit]
The name "Bouncy Mushroom" is used here and here to refer to the mushrooms that you tap to bounce your character in Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge. It's not conjectural anymore, so don't delete this redirect, in case anybody intends to do it. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 16:29, April 6, 2020 (EDT)
