Official yes, if you catch that sentence "Young E. Gadd also, mentions Boo Woods in Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time. After his lab is destroyed by the volcano he says he will now move to Boo Woods.". He exactly mentions Boo Woods.

There is a chance that the woods is not the same as the woods surrounding Luigi's Mansion, but it is most likely that it was. User:Knife/sig1

I always thought Luigi's Mansion was in forever forest, but thats not the point. E. Gadd said He'd move to Boo Woods in PiT, and he said PARANORMAL studies. It is Very likely Luigi's Mansion is in Boo Woods. Max2 Now, I'm confused.

While it is possible that Gadd moved from the forest, right now to believe such would be conjecture. With no indication that he moved again before the events of Luigi's Mansion, we must assume that this is where the game was set until further confirmation. Stumpers! 21:49, 3 December 2007 (EST)
