'''Switch-Place Spaces''' ('''Front to Back Space''' in British English versions) are spaces that first appear in ''[[Mario Party: Island Tour]]'', only on the board [[Star-Crossed Skyway]]. If the player lands on one, the current [[Mini Star]] or [[Mini Ztar]] holder at the Star Stage will be launched by the star under it to the back of the line, making the next character in line be available to give their Mini Stars or Mini Ztars to the next player to reach the Star Stage. A total of ten of these spaces appear in the second, third, and fourth quarters of the board.
