The '''Super Whirl Jump''' is a [[List of moves|special move]] that can be performed by [[Mario]] in ''[[Super Mario Sunshine]]''. When Mario is hanging from a [[Rope|tightrope]], he can use [[F.L.U.D.D.|FLUDD]] to shoot some [[water]]. Mario then starts to swing slowly. If he shoots more water with good timing, he will start swinging around the rope, much like with a [[Wire Spin]]. If Mario lets loose when the player presses {{button|gcn|A}}, he will jump forward with high momentum. The player can hold {{button|gcn|B}} to let Mario stop swinging around the rope before he jumps.

While difficult to control, this move can allow Mario to reach the [[platform]]s near Hillside Cave in [[Bianco Hills]] or to reach the platforms high near where [[Petey Piranha]] was in Episode 5, [[Petey Piranha Strikes Back]], of Bianco Hills. It can also be used to collect a diagonal line of [[coin]]s high above [[Gelato Beach]], by using the Super Whirl Jump from a high-altitude tightrope located on the left side of the cliffs behind the beach.
