The objective is to control [[Small Mario|Small]] [[Mario]] and squash the [[Goomba]]s by jumping on them. The player can also stomp them in succession to earn 100-200-400 [[point]]s, although it does not have any effect in the microgame. If the time runs out and the player has not defeated all the Goombas or if [[Mario]] gets defeated by them, they lose the microgame.
