|description1=Blooey, known to his friends as the "White Torpedo", is a feisty [[Blooper]] who joins [[Luigi]] on his quest to rescue [[List of implied characters#Princess Eclair|Princess Eclair]]. He has obvious animosity towards Luigi. [[Mario]] first meets them in the plaza in [[Rogueport]], where Luigi details their escapades in [[List of implied locations#Rumblebump Volcano|Rumblebump Volcano]]. Although Luigi claims to have successfully thrown Blooey at a monster, killing the golem, he actually tripped and sent Blooey crashing into lava, turning Blooey golden tan.

|description2=Jerry is the second partner that joins [[Luigi]] on his adventure to rescue Princess Eclair. Jerry is a [[Bob-omb]] who bears a resemblance to a cherry as he is red in color with a fuse like a cherry stem. Luigi and Jerry travel to [[List of implied locations#Plumpbelly Village|Plumpbelly Village]], where Luigi dresses up as a bride so that he can be offered to a two-headed snake as a sacrifice. They defeat the snake, and Jerry accompanies Luigi to make sure no one has to witness the sight of Luigi in a wedding dress again. In the remake, he accompanies Luigi to prevent him from wearing high heels again, as Luigi was very clumsy in them.

|description3=Torque is a [[Spike Top]] that teams up with [[Luigi]] in his quest to assemble the [[List of implied items#Marvelous Compass|Marvelous Compass]]. Differing in appearance from a regular Spike Top, Torque has a green shell, and instead of a spike, Torque's has a wrench. Apparently, Torque has the ability to attach a variety of different tools to his shell, and as such, he became a mechanic of go-karts. When Luigi arrived on [[List of implied locations#Circuit Break Island|Circuit Break Island]], he discovered that the champion of the kart races would earn a trophy with a piece of the Marvelous Compass embedded in the plaque. Luigi claims that he entered the contest and was paired with Torque and together, they won the race and earned the piece of the Marvelous Compass. In reality, however, at the beginning of the race, Luigi accidentally went in reverse, destroying all the karts in the competition and thus winning the race. Torque decides to tag along with Luigi until the plumber can pay him back for all the damage he caused on the island.

|description4=Hayzee is a [[Crazee Dayzee]] with green petals, whom [[Luigi]] meets during his quest to assemble the Marvelous Compass. Hayzee lived in [[List of implied locations#Jazzafrazz Town|Jazzafrazz Town]], where he wrote a musical entitled "The Mystery of The Fiery Hat of Social Awareness" for the annual Jazzafrazz Town Drama Slam. As it turned out, the compass piece that Luigi needed was a part of the Dramalama Plaque, the prize for winning the Drama Slam. So, Luigi became an actor in Hayzee's play. While Hayzee played the part of The Red Miracle, Luigi, much to his chagrin, played the part of grass. In the end, their musical was most popular by far, they won the Drama Slam, and Hayzee joined Luigi on his quest. Hayzee tells Mario that after he and Luigi finish their quest, he wants to take his play all over the world, of course, Luigi will be grass. Out of all Luigi's partners, Hayzee seems to be the only one that does not despise or find something wrong with Luigi.

|description5=Screamy is one of [[Luigi]]'s partners in the quest to save Princess Eclair. Luigi met Screamy while looking for a piece of the Marvelous Compass in [[List of implied locations#Rapturous Ruins|Rapturous Ruins]]. It is unknown why or how Screamy joined up with Luigi as Luigi does not say and the most Screamy explains is "I must deliver something". His name and appearance invoke a scoop of ice cream in keeping with the dessert theme of Luigi's adventure.
