The '''Sunshine Tour''' was the hundred-and-first tour of ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', which began on July 26, 2023 and ended on August 8, 2023. It was rerun from July 24, 2024 to August 6, 2024 as the game's hundred-and-twenty-seventh tour.

This tour introduced [[GBA Lakeside Park|Lakeside Park]] from ''[[Mario Kart: Super Circuit]]'' as the final GBA track and final [[classic course]] added to the game overall, while also adding in R/T variants for [[GCN Daisy Cruiser]] and [[SNES Koopa Troopa Beach 2]]; the latter's R/T variant was previously seen in a [[:File:MKT Pirate Pipe Drivers.jpg|screenshot]] during the [[Summer Tour (2021)|2021 Summer Tour]]. As of this tour, all [[Yoshi (species)|Yoshi]] colors from ''[[Mario Kart 8]]'' are present in ''Mario Kart Tour''.

This tour marked the first reappearance of [[Tour Sydney Sprint|Sydney Sprint 2R/T]] since its debut in the [[Sydney Tour (September 2021)|September 2021 Sydney Tour]] and the first reappearance of SNES Koopa Troopa Beach 2 since the [[Samurai Tour]] (the longest gap in the game between two appearances of a classic course).

The Summertime Celebration event began in this tour, and ran until the [[Summer Tour (2023)|2023 Summer Tour]].

The [[Coin Rush (Mario Kart Tour)|Coin Rush]] course for this tour was [[Tour Sydney Sprint|Sydney Sprint]], which was previously used for the two Sydney Tours in [[Sydney Tour (April–May 2021)|April and May 2021]] and [[Sydney Tour (September 2021)|September 2021]], respectively. The menu background featured the [[Daisy Cruiser]] as the tour's landmark, being reused from the [[Ocean Tour]].

==Today's Challenge==
Players' most recently used kart and glider are chosen, and favorite and favored ones have extra priority. Opponents are arranged randomly. On day 1 of this tour, players finish a race in [[3DS Cheep Cheep Lagoon|3DS Cheep Cheep Lagoon R]] in the [[Mii Cup]] using the [[Mii|Toadette Mii Racing Suit]] for a free pipe launch. Starting from day 2, players have to finish a race in the earliest incomplete course that is not in any of the ranked cups using the driver shown on the course's thumbnail every day to obtain the corresponding reward in the table below. Once all of the courses are completed, the courses are selected at random.
