The '''Sundae Tour''' is the hundred-and-fourth tour of ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', which began on September 6, 2023 and ends on September 20, 2023. The tour features the first reappearance of [[Sky-High Sundae]] following its debut over a year prior in the [[Sundae Tour (2022)|previous Sundae Tour]]. The tour also features many snow-themed courses, including the introduction of a new [[remix course]] based on the [[Vanilla Lake]] courses, named [[RMX Vanilla Lake 2]], marking the first instance of two RMX courses being based on the same SNES course since the [[Peach vs. Daisy Tour]] introduced [[RMX Choco Island 2]] over two years prior. This tour also introduces the R/T variants for [[SNES Vanilla Lake 2]] and [[RMX Vanilla Lake 1]].

Additionally, this tour introduces a gold variant of [[Wiggler]], as well as a [[kart]] version of the [[Wild Wiggler]] from ''[[Mario Kart 8]]''. A variant of the [[Strawberry Soft Swerve]] themed around chocolate and mint is also introduced, as well as a gold variant of said kart. Multiple variants of the [[Mint & Berry Balloons]] are also introduced, one being Halloween-themed despite the tour's release in September, and another being yellow and green.

Many of the courses in this tour last appeared in the [[Holiday Tour (2022)|2022 Holiday Tour]] (with the exception of [[GBA Snow Land]], all three [[Vancouver Velocity]] routes, and [[Merry Mountain]]), including [[Wii DK Summit|Wii DK Summit R/T]], which makes its first reappearance since its debut in that tour. This is also the first tour since the [[Cat Tour (2022)|2022 Cat Tour]] to feature [[N64 Frappe Snowland|N64 Frappe Snowland R/T]], and is the first tour to feature [[GBA Luigi Circuit]] following its debut in the [[Mario vs. Luigi Tour (2023)|2023 Mario vs. Luigi Tour]]. This tour's [[Coin Rush (Mario Kart Tour)|Coin Rush]] course is Sky-High Sundae, which was reused from the [[Sundae Tour (2022)|2022 Sundae Tour]]. The menu's background features the giant ice cream sundae and the ice cream cone helicopter, as the landmark for this tour, which was reused from the aforementioned tour.

This is the first tour since the [[New York Tour]] (the first tour of the game) and the [[Marine Tour]] to give the [[Mach 8]] and the [[Droplet Glider]] a favorite course, both being [[RMX Vanilla Lake 2|RMX Vanilla Lake 2R]].

Similar to the [[Summer Tour (2023)|2023 Summer Tour]], [[Poochy]] is featured on a course icon of [[GBA Luigi Circuit|GBA Luigi Circuit T]], despite not being obtainable this tour.
 
As of this tour, all regular Mii racing suits from ''Mario Kart 8'' are present in ''Mario Kart Tour''.

This is the final tour to introduce a new remix course to the game.

==Today's Challenge==
Players' most recently used kart and glider are chosen, and favorite and favored ones have extra priority. Opponents are arranged randomly. On day 1 of this tour, players finish a balloon battle in [[GBA Battle Course 1]] in the [[Mii Cup]] using [[Mii|Light Blue Mii Racing Suit]] for a free pipe launch. Starting from day 2, players have to finish a race in the earliest incomplete course that is not in any of the ranked cups using the driver shown on the course's thumbnail every day to obtain the corresponding reward in the table below. Once all of the courses are completed, the courses are selected at random.
