The '''Sundae Tour''' is the seventy-sixth tour of ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', which began on August 10, 2022 and ends on August 23, 2022. As the tour's name indicates, it introduces [[Sky-High Sundae]] which first appeared in Wave 2 of the [[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass|Booster Course Pass]] for ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe]]'' (which was released a day prior to the tour's announcement, on August 4) as a new course, making this the first course to debut in the aforementioned game and later make an appearance in ''Mario Kart Tour''. [[White Tanooki Mario]] from ''[[Super Mario 3D Land]]'' also appears as a new driver. The tour also introduces many dessert-related karts and gliders, as well as an ice-cream themed [[Mii|Mii Racing Suit]] as part of Mii Racing Suits Wave 12. The ? Block Mii Racing Suit returns as a ranked reward for this tour, while the Rosalina Mii Outfit appears in the Mii Shop for the first time. This is the first tour to feature a trailer showing the new course before the title and banner. The menu's background features various elements from Sky-High Sundae, including the giant ice-cream sundae and the ice-cream cone helicopter, as the landmark for this tour.

Continuing from the [[Ocean Tour|previous tour]], the Summertime Celebration event concludes in this tour.

Starting from this tour, the [[White Snow Skimmer]] and the [[Calico Parafoil]] are available in regular tour pipes, including the All-Clear Pipe.

==Today's Challenge==
Players' most recently used kart and glider are chosen, and favorite and favored ones have extra priority. Opponents are arranged randomly. On day 1 of this tour, players finish a race in [[GCN Baby Park|GCN Baby Park R]] in the [[Mii Cup]] using the [[Mii|Ice-Cream Mii Racing Suit]] for a free pipe launch. Starting from day 2, players have to finish a race in the earliest incomplete course that is not in any of the ranked cups using the driver shown on the course's thumbnail every day to obtain the corresponding reward in the table below. Once all of the courses are completed, the courses are selected at random.
