'''Summer Shootout''' is a course which appears in the Story Mode of ''[[Super Mario Maker 2]]''. It is given to [[Mario]] by [[Yamamura]] after completing both [[Coin Collecting on an Unmanned Airship]] and [[Swamp Escape by Shell!]] for the first time, subsequently playing another level, then inspecting [[Undodog]]'s [[Dry Bones Shell]]. The course has a difficulty rating of 4/4 stars. Completing this course for the first time rewards the player with a Yamamura Shirt.

==Layout==
The level begins with a big [[Shoe Goomba]], which Mario must defeat to enter a [[Key Door]]. The entire rest of the level consists of jumping off of [[Cannonball]]s and big Cannonballs to reach the [[Goal (Super Mario Bros. 3)|goal]].
