Strike Orb

A Strike Orb is a type of power-up in Mario Strikers: Battle League. It allows the player characters to use their Hyper Strikes. It is an orange sphere that appears on the field during a match, and in order to use it, a player must touch the Orb. When touched, all members of that player's team will begin to glow a color that matches their team color (for example, red for the Rockets). All players on that team can now use their Hyper Strike if they have the ball and are on the opponent's side of the field.

If no one uses a Hyper Strike after about 20 seconds, the Orb's effects will wear off. It can also be stopped if a player is tackled while attempting a Hyper Strike.
