'''Straw Heads''' are undead scarecrow-like enemies encountered on the [[Sunken Ship]] in ''[[Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars]]'' and [[Super Mario RPG (Nintendo Switch)|its remake]]. They are a variation on the [[Hobgoblin]] enemy found earlier in the game. Their name likely comes from {{wp|Bloody Bones|Rawhead}}, an entity in folklore similar to a hobgoblin. Straw Heads are very uncommon to encounter. They are fairly weak, though they are not weak to fire despite being scarecrows. They attack with [[Stench]] and [[Scarecrow Funk]], which can inflict the [[Poison (status effect)|Poison]] and [[Scarecrow (status effect)|Scarecrow]] status effects respectively.
