Once they've hit the ground and cooled off (now they look blue with no flame), the player must grab one of them and throw it at the [[Millennium Star]]. Every one (Easy story mode), two (Normal), or three (Hard) hits, the Millennium Star will change the layout of the playfield to make it harder. The layout at the beginning of the game is normal floor with a checkered pattern. Then it changes to a goop floor that makes it harder to move across the floor. The last layout is an ice floor that makes it slippery and harder to change directions. It takes three (Easy), six (Medium), or nine (Hard) hits to the Millennium Star to win the battle. This boss stage gives the player 1 hit. So if the player gets hit once, the player will have to start this boss all over again. | ||
