The '''Starchute''' is an unlockable [[glider]] in ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', classified as a tour-exclusive High-End glider. It is a parachute that resembles a [[Super Star]], but with yellow eyes. It is the signature glider of [[Mario|Mario (Santa)]], [[Builder Toad]] Mario (Sunshine) and [[Yoshi|Yoshi (Reindeer)]]. When using this glider, collecting [[Coin]]s grants more points than usual. There are three variants of the glider in this game; a rainbow-colored variant named the [[Rainbow Starchute]] was introduced in the [[Vancouver Tour]], an American flag-themed variant named the [[Star-Spangled Glider]] was introduced in the [[Los Angeles Tour]], and a silver variant named the [[Silver Starchute]] was introduced in the 2020 [[Winter Tour (2020)|Winter Tour]].

As of the [[New Year's 2021 Tour]], the Starchute is no longer a Tour-exclusive item, making it available in all pipes with high-end gliders in them. However, it isn't a part of the Daily Selects set.
