It can be used by [[Mario]] and [[Luigi]]. As their name implies, Star Candies are orange star-shaped items presumably made of candy. In the original game, [[Bowser]] could also use them. This item restores 999 [[Heart Point|HP]] and [[Special Point|SP]] and cures all status ailments, making it the strongest consumable item in the game. [[Dark Mechawful]]s have a chance of dropping Star Candies. The item also has a chance to be rewarded if the player executes the [[Bros. Attack|Special Attack]] [[Mighty Meteor]] perfectly.
