A carnivorous plant called [[Herman (Saturday Supercade)|Herman]] is in Stanley's care, but [[Mr. X|a thief]] steals it while Stanley is spraying a bug. The thief then convinces Donkey Kong that Stanley wanted to hurt the plant, so he starts throwing beehives at him. Being too occupied with fighting bugs, Stanley allows the thief and Donkey Kong to run away with Herman, though he later joins [[Mario]] and [[Pauline]] to chase them down. Pauline later convinces Donkey Kong that the thief is the antagonist, so the group defeats him, with help from Donkey Kong. Stanley retrieves Herman, but Donkey Kong escapes once more.
