The '''Standard MR''' is [[Mario]]'s [[Standard Kart|standard kart]] in ''[[Mario Kart DS]]''. It features a red frame to match Mario’s shirt as well the "M" [[emblem]] on his [[Mario Cap|cap]], unless the player changes the emblem. Its stats are average all-around, with all of its stats staying in the same range. Its highest stat is its acceleration, while its lowest stat is its handling (tied the [[Standard WL]]). Additionally, its speed is tied with the [[Standard DS]], and its drift is tied with the Standard WL.
