Stampede is an attack in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door that is used exclusively by the Yoshi Kid. This attack will calling a massive pack of Yoshi that will stampede (hence the name) on all enemies. To perform this attack, alternate between pressing gcn and gcn. This move costs six flower points, but will take 6 heart points from every on-screen enemy that has no defense. However, if an enemy has even one point of defense, Stampede will not harm it because the attack consists of six hits, dealing one point each. If attack-boosting badges are worn, the first hit will do the full amount of damage and each subsequent hit will do one less damage, down to one point, just like the Power Bounce move. Therefore, if two attack boosters are being worn, then Stampede will damage enemies that have up to two points of defense. Enemies that have no defense will take nine points of damage in the order of: 3, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1. | |||
