Squish You Were Here is a general minigame in Mario Party: Island Tour. Its name comes from the phrase "wish you were here". It takes place in a room that contains the moving stone blocks from various Tower and Castle levels in the New Super Mario Bros. games, albeit arranged in a horizontal pattern rather than a vertical one due to the three-dimensional room (although players cannot jump).

During the entire minigame, the walls on each side of the room arrange themselves in a different way and then start moving toward the center. The players must figure out where the walls leave a gap and stay there to avoid being squeezed. The arrangement gets more confusing as the minigame advances. If one stays between two touching walls, they lose the minigame. There is no way of telling whether the walls leave a gap or do not leave a gap barring observation on the width of the initial gaps; the narrowest gaps will close entirely, with their occupants (except any who leave) getting crushed and eliminated; any larger gaps remain, serving as safe spots. The game is won if all other players have been squished or if the time runs out. The minigame lasts a full minute.
