When Squirt is defeated, it will drop a [[Ski]]. Once the Kongs collect both Skis (the other one is held by [[KAOS]]), [[Funky Kong]] will be able to use them to build the [[Turbo Ski]].
'''Squirt''' is a large creature resembling a slug (although it has also been described as a "lizard-thing"<ref>{{cite|date=December 1996|title=''Nintendo Magazine System'' (UK) issue 51|page=21}}</ref>) who appears in ''[[Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!]]'' as the boss of [[Cotton Top Cove]]. It lives behind a waterfall, which is the setting for Squirt's boss level, [[Squirt's Showdown]]. During its fight, Squirt attacks by shooting out a large stream of water from its mouth, which can push off [[Ellie the Elephant|Ellie]] (whom [[Dixie Kong|Dixie]] and [[Kiddy Kong|Kiddy]] are transformed into for the whole battle). Squirt performs this attack slightly longer after each hit. After performing its attack, Squirt briefly exposes its eyes out from the waterfall. While Squirt's eyes are exposed, Ellie can attack it by drawing water into her trunk and then shooting at both of its eyes twice. This must be done three times to defeat Squirt, who then drops behind one of the [[ski]]s in defeat.

In the [[Game Boy Advance]] [[remake]], Squirt gained a new attack: when shooting two streams of water, one circles the arena fast while the other moves slow. When defeated, its face falls off and the waterfall no longer has water.


In the [[Donkey Kong Country 3 (Game Boy Advance)|Game Boy Advance version]], the boss battle was slightly altered, as Squirt takes five hits to defeat. After the original three hits, Squirt begins shooting out two streams of water in opposite directions, and after another hit, both of its streams circle the area at different speeds. Additionally, when Squirt is defeated, its face falls off the waterfall, which also stops flowing.
Squirt is one of only two bosses from ''Donkey Kong Country 3'' not to reappear in ''[[Donkey Kong Land III]]'', the other being [[Belcha]]. Additionally, none of Squirt's attacks can hurt the Kongs, but they can still send the Kongs falling into an abyss.
