Other objects seen throughout the course include sponges, hula hoops, inflatable balls, bars of soap, a fan, and sunglasses.

Excluding courses announced simultaneously, this course and Rome Avanti mark the shortest period of time between the announcement of two new courses for the Mario Kart series, with only a 16-hour gap; beating the previous courses with this distinction, Piranha Plant Cove and Yoshi's Island, by five days. Additionally, this course and Piranha Plant Pipeline marks the shortest period of time between the release of two new courses for the Mario Kart series, with only a five-hour gap.

The starting line is located directly next to a sink full of water. The racers pass through the sink before being taken to a fork in the road leading into a bathtub containing a Hoop, an Innertube Goomba, a Toy Duck, and a Beach Ball. Racers can choose to drive along sponges that lead them into the water, or they can take a ramp to go directly into the tub. After swerving around Bath Bombs, racers soon drive down the drain. Here, the Binding Band from Super Mario Odyssey acts as an arch representing an off-road shortcut. After leaving the drain section, racers are along on the floor, avoiding soap next to a large fan. A half-pipe is located along the left turn afterwards. Racers then take a Glide Ramp over a toilet, which leads to one of two possible paths. The path on the bottom is made of towels and leads to the finish line. The upper path is accessible via a Jump Boost from a column of water spouting from the toilet and takes place along a wooden shelf which has a Glide Ramp at the end that takes players over an alternate finish line that hovers over the regular one. Players can trick off the faucet, as well as a few bottles. One route off to the side accessible through careful maneuvering or the glider branches off into a path with a normal ramp and a slightly longer one with a Dash Panel ramp and Double Item Box that then allows racers to trick off the leaves of the Mushroom Trampoline above. There is also the option to drive along the railing next to the sink, which contains some item boxes and a Dash Panel. Should this path be taken, the aforementioned Mushroom Trampoline will lead players back to the bathtub.

Squeaky Clean Sprint is the only new course in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe that features half-pipes.

Squeaky Clean Sprint appears in Mario Kart Tour starting from the Vacation Tour. The course has few visual changes, but is slightly scaled down compared to its appearance in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It was the final non-city "new" course to be added to Mario Kart Tour.
Squeaky Clean Sprint reappears in Mario Kart Tour starting from the Vacation Tour. The course has few visual changes, but is slightly scaled down compared to its appearance in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

The course now features ramps made of clothespins along the soapy section of the course, and there is now a group of coins in the air after the sink section at the beginning of the course. The Toy Duck is now outside the Hoop, floating alongside a Toy Goomba which replaces the live Innertube Goomba, and the starting grid is now blue instead of white. The toothbrushes located on the right side near the starting banner are replaced with a comb, and another comb was placed on the opposite side. The slope leading up to the bathtub is much longer and has steps that can be tricked off of. The ramp leading into the bathtub is now made of paper, as opposed to the metal ramp used in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. While the current in the drain section is still present, the Item Boxes are static. The Binding Band now has its original white gem instead of a red one and its Inverted Pyramid pattern is more visible, making it more closely resemble its original appearance in Super Mario Odyssey. The balloons holding up the larger starting banner now sport MKT 095CB.png with "MARIO KART TOUR" written on them. The water column is now always present, but its height fluctuates, meaning it may be too low for players to reach the upper route. The blow dryer on the upper route is now turned on. Despite the minimap removing the side routes along the sink counter, they are still all accessible. The rim of the sink is also no longer present on the minimap.

This course also appears as Squeaky Clean Sprint R (reversed), Squeaky Clean Sprint T (with ramps), and Squeaky Clean Sprint R/T (reversed with ramps). In the R and R/T variants, there is a column of water spouting from the sink instead of the toilet. In the T and R/T variants, racers drive across several Note Blocks, and there are multiple Toy Goombas and Toy Ducks scattered throughout. In the T variant, racers skip the tub and drain sections, instead driving on Kanaami Roads over everything, and the mushroom trampoline is gone. In the R/T variant, there is a glide ramp just before the sink.
