A Spring Topman can use a spin attack which does not damage Mario, but stuns and knocks him backwards. However, this spin could potentially be used to knock Mario into other hazards that may hurt him. If [[Mario]] tries to [[stomp]] a Spring Topman, its head will pop up, immobilizing it, and a second stomp will send Mario skyward, similar to a [[Trampoline]]. Mario often had to take advantage of this to reach high ledges and items. If Mario [[Spinning|Spins]] a Spring Topman, it produces a [[Mini-Topman]]. The only way to defeat one is to spin it into an electric fence. |
