| Spinias are green creatures made of thin, papery discs in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and its Nintendo Switch remake. They commonly appear in Rogueport Underground prior to completing Chapter 5 alongside their later-found spiked version called Spanias. As their name suggests, they and their attacks are derived from "spinner". Spinias and Spanias are also found in floors 1-10 of the Pit of 100 Trials, which also features the very powerful Spunias. Two Spinias also appear in Chapter 3 where they help make up The Destructors, a Glitz Pit team who served as a replacement for Bandy Andy who had "retired". However, The Destructors exit the rankings when Bandy Andy comes back and takes their place.

| | Interestingly, the games programming reveals what could possibly be another Spinia sub-species; even more surprising is that this Spinia-like creature was supposedly going to be an ally of Luigi. |

| *Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Doors data reveals what could possibly be another Spinia variant (seemingly a hamburger-themed one); this Spinia-like creature was supposedly going to be an ally of Luigi, as its sprite could be found next to those of Luigi's other partners. | | *HP: 3 |

| | *Tattle: That's a Spinia. A totally weird creature made of thin, papery boards. It certainly looks unique. Nobody knows much about these creatures, actually. Its attacks are super-swift, but it should be pretty easy. Just give it a "Hee-YAAA!" |

| | *Tattle: That's a Spania. A Spinia with spikes on its head. It looks meaner, too. So, sorta the same as a Spinia. You oughta watch out for the spikes on its head, but otherwise, just whale on it. I gotta be honest, though, the way that thing spins makes me wanna yack. |
