|tattle=That's a Spinia.  A totally weird creature made of thin, papery boards. It certainly looks unique.  Nobody knows much about these creatures, actually. Its attacks are super-swift, but it should be pretty easy.  Just give it a "Hee-YAAA!"
|log=A strange creature made of thin, papery boards. Still a completely mysterious species.

'''Spinias''' are green creatures made of thin, papery discs in ''[[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]]'' and its [[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Nintendo Switch)|Nintendo Switch remake]]. They commonly appear in [[Rogueport Underground]] prior to completing Chapter 5 alongside their later-found spiked version called [[Spania]]s. As their name suggests, they and their attacks are derived from "spinner". Spinias and Spanias are also found in floors 1-10 of the [[Pit of 100 Trials (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door)|Pit of 100 Trials]], which also features the very powerful [[Spunia]]s. Two Spinias also appear in Chapter 3 where they help make up [[The Destructors]], a [[Glitz Pit]] team who served as a replacement for [[Bandy Andy]] who had "retired". However, The Destructors exit the rankings when Bandy Andy comes back and takes their place.

'''Spinias''' are creatures made of thin, papery discs in ''[[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]]''. Since they usually appear in groups, the Multibounce [[Badge]] or Quake Hammer move will come in handy.

*''Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door''{{'}}s [[List of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door pre-release and unused content|data]] reveals what could possibly be another Spinia variant (seemingly a hamburger-themed one); this Spinia-like creature was supposedly going to be an [[partner|ally]] of [[Luigi]], as its sprite could be found next to those of Luigi's other partners.
*The name ''Spinia'' derives from ''Spin'', the creature's trademark action, and a corruption of ''ya'', a slang form of ''you''.
*In the Tattle Log of the [[Nintendo GameCube]] version of ''Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door'', there is no space in between "[[Heart Point|HP]]" and "3" for Spinia.
*''Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s [[Beta#Paper_Mario:_The_Thousand-Year_Door_2|programming]] reveals what could possibly be another Spinia sub-species (seemingly a hamburger-themed one); even more surprising is that this Spinia-like creature was supposedly going to be an [[partner|ally]] of [[Luigi]], as its sprite could be found next to those of Luigi's other partners.

*Spinias, as well as Spanias and Spunias, may have been the basis for a similar enemy known as the [[Topman|Topmen]].
