Spin Attack is a Badge in Paper Mario. When it is worn, Mario's Spin Dash is upgraded to instantly defeat contacted enemies that would only give one Star Point after battle. Enemies that are defeated through this method still drop items, such as coins and hearts, but no Star Points are rewarded.
Spin Attack is a Badge in Paper Mario. It can be obtained in Dry Dry Desert by entering a whirlwind in the same area with some blue cacti; the whirlwind subsequently drops Mario off on top of a large stone with the Badge on top of it. If Mario is equipped with the Badge, his Spin Dash is upgraded so that if he comes into contact while dashing with enemies that would only give him one Star Point after battle, they are instantly defeated. Enemies that are defeated through this method still drop items, such as coins and hearts, but no Star Points are rewarded. This Badge does not work in conjunction with the First Attack and Bump Attack Badges, as they both allow Mario to defeat enemies by simply coming into contact with them, which includes Spin Dashing. As Mario cannot Spin Dash in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it was phased out.
