Sonic then returns to the [[Main Stadium]] to meet up with the others, and helps save [[Cream (character)|Cream]] and [[Cheese (character)|Cheese]] from some [[imposter]]s when the fog returns. Brawl]]''. Sonic's design is based on more recent games at the time such as ''Sonic Colors'', which in turn are based on official 2D and CG artworks. The only major differences to Sonic's moveset is that his {{iw|smashwiki|down smash}} is a split-kick, and his Spin Dash is followed by a lunging kick afterwards.
