The Sobarribad is an enemy in Super Paper Mario encountered in Castle Bleck. Its name is a pun on the words "so very bad", and is derived from its method of protection, a barrier. It is a white version of the Barribad, and the enemies look and behave similarly to the Yux of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. The Sobarribad projects an impenetrable barrier around itself when Mario, Princess Peach, Bowser, or Luigi approaches, and shoots rings of energy at them. However, by flipping to 3D, the player can go around the barrier, switch to 2D, and defeat it. An alternative is to use pixl Barry, which will reflect the energy back at them and destroys them. Another way to defeat the Sobarribad is to use Fleep to daze it for a while, then attack it before it snaps out of its dizziness. Or the player can use Bowser to breathe fire. The last known method of defeating it is to use Slim and walk towards the Sobarribad as the force field fades, at that point which the Sobarribad will form the force field around the player and itself, allowing the player to defeat it inside it's own force field.

The Sobarribad is an enemy in Super Paper Mario encountered in the Castle Bleck Interior. Its name is a pun on the words "so very bad", and is derived from its method of protection, a barrier. It is a white and stronger version of the Barribad, which in turn looks and behaves similarly to a Yux from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, and uses the same method of attack and protection as its regular counterpart, creating a barrier around itself and firing rings at the heroes. The only two Sobarribads are located at the top of the Hogarithm room, shooting rings at the bottom, and can be reached with Luigi's super jump. They need to be defeated to progress through the rest of the castle. Like a Barribad, the duo can be defeated by flipping into 3D, then into 2D inside their barrier and jumping on them, using Bowser's fire breath, and with Pixls Thoreau to throw them against a wall, Slim to disappear and reappear inside their barrier once they draws close, Fleep to make them temporarily dizzy, and Barry to reflect their rings back at them.
