[[Mario]] must follow the path northwest of the chute to find himself at the start of the area. Almost immediately there are a few small, soft layers of [[snow]] Mario may use [[Cappy]] to clear away. Cappy must also be used to pull up the post just ahead, revealing a whirlwind taking Mario up to a [[Hat Trampoline]], taking him to another whirlwind. After pulling up one more post and creating one more whirlwind, Mario reaches the top of the mountain, covered in a layer of [[ice]]. This is where the [[Broodals]] are encountered in this kingdom, as well as where [[Rango]] is fought a second time. Defeating him earns Mario a [[Power Moon]], next to which is a [[Warp Pipe]] taking him back to Shiveria Town.

Past the second whirlwind is a hidden path, which leads Mario to three regional coins and a Power Moon if he uncovers the snow blocking the path.

After this kingdom's [[Moon Rock]] has been opened up, Mario may return to the area here where Rango is fought to find there is now a glowing, moving bump underneath the ice. Stunning and [[Ground Pound]]ing it reveals it as a Power Moon.
