| The Snow Cap Galaxy is a galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy, accessed via the Hungry Luma outside the Garden. It comprises two small planets. It is perpetually snowing on the main planet, depositing a white mat on the ground that slows Mario down considerably. However, the player can use the Star Pointer to push the snow apart, revealing anything hidden. The background of the stage features an aurora.

| ==Planets/Area== | | The Snow Cap Galaxy is a galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy. Its always snowing on a planet, making it covered in a blanket of snow. Also, in the background, there is Aurora all over. Here the player is able to use the Star Cursor to push the snow apart, revealing anything the snow hid. |

| | | Three Star Bunnies ask Mario to play another game of hide-and-seek. This time, the Bunnies make it much harder; Mario must first find and stomp several hidden miniature Flipswitches, which will reveal a Fire Flower. Mario must then use it to find the Bunnies; one is hiding in a snowman, another in a small pillar of snow, and the third is hiding in a chest which has to be opened by a Koopa Shell. On top of all this, the mission has a time limit. If Mario can pull it all off, the Bunnies award him with a Power Star. The best and fastest way for the player to catch them is by trapping the bunnies in either end of the planet. This will make it much easier to get them. |
| The starting planet consists of a glass orb with a chest on top and a Koopa Shell on the bottom. Mario must use the shell to hit the chest to reveal the Sling Star.

| The only other planet in the galaxy is a pill-shaped planet covered in snow. It is inhabited by three Star Bunnies. Despite only being a small planet, there are several secrets and Flipswitches hidden here. Snowmen and mushroom-shaped snow sculptures occur on the planet.
