It is perpetually snowing on the main planet, depositing a white mat on the ground that slows [[Mario]] down considerably. However, the player can use the [[Star Pointer]] to push the [[snow]] apart, revealing anything hidden. The background of the stage features an {{wp|aurora}}.

This time, the Bunnies make it much harder; Mario must first find and stomp several hidden miniature [[Flipswitch]]es, which will reveal a [[Fire Flower]]. Mario must then use it to find the Bunnies; one is hiding in a snowman, another in a small pillar of snow, and the third is hiding in a chest which has to be opened by a [[Koopa Shell]]. On top of all this, the mission has a time limit. If Mario can pull it all off, the Bunnies award him with a [[Power Star]]. The best and fastest way for the player to catch them is by trapping the bunnies in either end of the planet. This will make it much easier to get them. |

| The only other planet in the galaxy is a pill-shaped planet covered in [[snow]]. It is inhabited by three Star Bunnies. Despite only being a small planet, there are several secrets and Flipswitches hidden here. [[Snowman|Snowmen]] and [[mushroom]]-shaped [[snow sculpture]]s occur on the planet.
