'''Snoozorbs''' are large robots used by the [[Shroob]]s as guards in [[Shroob Castle]] in ''[[Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time]]''. The name 'Snoozorb' is a portmanteau of the words 'snooze' and 'orb'. Usually, Snoozorbs are found sleeping, but if the Bros. approach them, they wake up and attack. Snoozorbs attack by either shooting a laser beam or changing into a ball and rolling into the Bros. As with other enemies, Snoozorbs give two hints on how they attack. First, they will blow some steam. If the steam comes out the right of the Snoozorb's head, it will attack [[Mario]] and if the steam comes out the left, it is targeting [[Luigi]].

'''Snoozorbs''' are large robots that appear as enemies in ''[[Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time]]''. Their name is a portmanteau of "snooze" and "orb". They appear in [[Shroob Castle]], and are usually found sleeping, but wake up and attack when the Mario Bros. approach. While curled up, they resemble [[metal ball]]s.
If the Snoozorb does its rolling attack, it will roll toward the appropriate brother, who must [[Hammer]] the enemy away. If the Snoozorb is planning on firing a laser, it charges, gathering energy. If the energy goes straight in, Mario or Luigi must [[Jump]] to avoid the attack. If it spirals, however, the attack will pass overhead.

==Battle==
After Snoozorbs have taken enough damage, they start attacking multiple times in a single turn.
Snoozorbs start the battle [[Sleep|asleep]], and thus do not attack until waken by the Bros. [[First Strike]]s will not wake them up. Once they have taken damage during the battle, they will wake up. Snoozorbs revived by [[Soul Bubble]]s are brought back in their sleeping state.

Snoozorbs have two attacks they can perform. Both of them involve releasing steam to show who they will attack; if the steam travels to their right, [[Mario]] is the target. If it is to their left, they will attack [[Luigi]].

*Snoozorbs gather up energy before firing a laser at the Bros. If the energy gathers in a straight path, the laser will be fired directly at Mario or Luigi. If the energy is gathered in a spiral formation, the beam will travel over them instead. If the latter action is performed, the attacking Snoozorb will fire an additional laser directly at Mario or Luigi. Sometimes the laser will be aimed to the other character during the attack. This attack is dodged by [[jump|jumping]].
*Snoozorbs roll at Mario or Luigi and must be countered by using the [[hammer]]. After repelling the Snoozorb, it may continue to charge at the same character. After enough hits, the Snoozorb will return to their normal position in the battle. Snoozorbs do not take damage from countering them during the attack. Additionally, if [[Baby Mario]] and [[Baby Luigi]] are not present, Snoozorbs will not perform this attack because of the inability to use hammers.

==Trivia==
*The Snoozorbs' long, segmented arms are likely inspired by the robots from the anime ''{{wp|Castle in the Sky}}''.
*Snoozorb resembles ''[[Wikipedia:Metroid_Fusion|Metroid Fusion]]''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s Nightmare boss.

*The enemy [[Naplock]] in ''[[Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story]]'' may be based off of Snoozorb.
