If one of the players presses his or her button at one end, he or she has to go back to the other side of the room to the door that is opened. | Players wear [[barrel]]s bearing their character's symbol (like [[Mario's Cap|Mario's hat]] for [[Mario]]) as they try to sneak past a sleeping [[Chain Chomp]] and escape. In ''Mario Party Superstars'', the barrels are red, blue, green, and yellow (for Players 1 to 4, respectively) and each have a star symbol. A player can fulfill the objective by going to one end, pressing a button to open a door, and then exit. If a player tries to hide in their barrel, they first slow gradually before stopping. However, when the Chain Chomp awakes, it eliminates any player not hiding by picking them up and dropping them into a [[Warp Pipe]]. The first player to exit wins, though if the Chain Chomp grabs all the players or time runs out, it is a draw.
