There is also a big delay between releasing the Control Stick and the character hiding, as the character first gradually slows down their movement before coming to a complete stop, meaning the farther the Control Stick is tilted, the longer it takes for a character to hide when it is released. When the Chain Chomp awakes, which it does frequently, it eliminates any exposed player from the minigame by dumping them into a [[Warp Pipe]]. If the player is hidden in a barrel, the Chain Chomp does not grab them. The player who presses the button and reaches the opened door first wins.
