They are snakes with spikes appearing from their heads. The Snake artwork closely resembles the Prince of Sablé's snake form in ''{{iw|nwiki|Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru}}'', but without a cape.

A Snake in ''Mario Clash'' can produce an [[egg]] from its mouth, soon causing another Snake to hatch. Throwing a [[Koopa Shell|Koopa shell]] a Snake's sides stuns them and another Koopa shell from any angle finishes them off. A Snake egg can be defeated by either touching it or throwing a shell at it.
