| |
| The player starts on a raised platform on the [[Spin-Dig Galaxy#Starting Planet|Starting Planet]], like with the [[Digga-Leg's Planet|last mission]]. However, once the player steps off the platform, [[Cosmic Clone]]s will appear and follow the player's movements. By breaking open a [[Crystal (Super Mario Galaxy)|crystal]] and using the [[Sling Star]] inside, the player can reach a platform with a [[Piranha Plant]] that will reveal a [[Sproutle Vine]] when defeated. The vine will lead the player to the [[Spin-Dig Galaxy#Purple Cylinder Planet|Purple Cylinder Planet]], and entering the [[Warp Pipe]] will take them inside to a two-dimensional platforming room with dirt the player has to dig through using the Spin Drill. By lining their drills with the sloped walls in the dirt, the player can get around to the Warp Pipe that leads to the next area, where they have to dig through dirt while also avoiding moving [[Amp]]s. The Warp Pipe at the end will take the player to a [[Launch Star]] that will send the player to a [[Starshroom]], and the Launch Star there will take the player to the [[Spin-Dig Galaxy#Square Planet|Square Planet]] where the Silver Stars are found. By using a Spin Drill to dig through the dark patches, the player can enter the hollowed out planet and collect the five Silver Stars, one of which is located on the planet's surface. Once all five Silver Stars are collected, the [[Power Star]] will appear.
