Krooms are found in [[Fungi Forest]] during the day. Similar to the attack of [[Klobber]]s, they will wait in the ground, looking like normal mushrooms. If a [[Kong]] approaches it, the Kroom will jump out at them and attack. When they attack, the Kroom will chase the Kong through the forest, and the Kong can take some damage if touched by it. Kroom are fairly weak enemies and a few attacks can defeat one. A Kroom can be defeated also from afar by blasting it with a weapon or an [[Orange Grenade]].

They wear a mushroom costume on their head with a small, rectangular hole to peek out of. Shrooms are encountered in [[Fungi Forest]] at daytime, where one waits in the ground, taking on the appearance of a normal mushroom, but when a [[Kong]] approaches, the Shroom jumps up to reveal itself and runs after the player character, trying to hit them with its mushroom head. Shrooms are weak enemies as only one hit defeats them.
