The '''Shriveled Seed''' is an item in ''[[Paper Mario: The Origami King]]''. It is located in [[Whispering Woods]], and is found in a golden ball hanging from a tree with a vine hanging from it. Pulling on the vine causes it to break, and the Shriveled Seed can be obtained by using the [[1,000-Fold Arms]]. The Shriveled Seed must be thrown into the spring in Whispering Woods, causing it to be restored as the [[Soul Seed]], which must be given to [[Ol' Grandsappy]] in order to progress.
