'''Shlurps''' are purple caterpillar-like enemies in the [[Wii]] game ''[[Super Paper Mario]]'', living in [[Gloam Valley]] and in the [[Flipside Pit of 100 Trials]] in rooms 13 and 15. There are tougher versions of these enemies named [[Shlorp]]s.

These strange creatures are almost invincible thanks to their extremely hard exoskeleton. The only way to defeat these enemies is to get them to swallow the explosive [[Boomer (Pixl)|Boomer]], which may be inspired by the similarly armour-skinned [[zeldawiki:Dodongo|Dodongo]]s, a well-known ''Legend of Zelda'' species is defeated by throwing bombs into their mouths. Despite having lots of legs, they move very slowly, and keep going in the same direction, even when they hit a wall, which highlights their placid temper. Shlurps suck up and swallow anything they find in their way, including [[Mario]] and [[Peach]], although they will spit him out afterwards, dealing damage but not a fatality.
