He is a follower of Bowser. He is conducting a traditional (albeit forced) wedding ceremony between Princess Peach and Bowser. The princess, however, refuses and confesses her longing for Mario, who arrives along with Luigi and Kibidango in a flying ship to stop the ceremony. Bowser grabs the princess and orders his two Goomba minions to take care of the heroes while ordering Shisai to come with him in a private room and the princess to finish the wedding ceremony. Thinking that Mario had been taken care of, Shisai resumes the ceremony and instructs the two to exchange their rings. Bowser gives Peach his wedding ring, which slips off since it is too large. Bowser remarks that a bracelet would make a better gift because it would show he has greater love for her, causing the princess to cry. Before the ceremony can be fully completed, however, the heroes interrupt it yet again by accidentally destroying the castle. After this, Shisai is not seen for the rest of the film.
