'''Shifty Shrine''' is the first level of [[Special Episode]] in the [[Nintendo Switch]] version of ''[[Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker]]''. It was released on February 13, 2019 as an early bonus for players who have purchased the Special Episode DLC before its release on March 14 of the same year. This is the first level where Captain Toad and Toadette are both playable at once using the "Adventure for Two" co-op mode added to the Nintendo Switch version of the game. In every previous level, the second player plays as a purple Toad Brigade member.

==Layout==
The level takes place in a shrine that begins to break apart and reform continuously. The player starts out in a secluded area on the red zone. They must head over to the blue zone once the two parts converge again, then loop around and climb the [[ladder]] next to the [[Key Door]] and the lower [[Piranha Sprout (Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker)|Piranha Sprout]]. They must then loop around the red zone and, after avoiding another Piranha Sprout, fall down to a much lower platform and climb a much larger ladder leading to the [[Shiny Crown]].
