The '''Octopot''' is a strange jar-like creature that has only appeared in the game ''[[Yoshi's Safari]]''. This being lives underwater and is the source of [[Octo]]s. During the subjugation of [[Jewelry Land]], the Octopot serves as a mini-boss in [[Bowser]]'s [[Koopa Troop|forces]]. | |||
[[Mario]] and [[Yoshi (character)|Yoshi]] encounter the Octopot in the [[Crescent Coast|fourth level of Light Realm]]. The strange creature ambushes the player underwater. The Octopot launches wave after wave of Octos at Mario and Yoshi. Using the [[Super Scope]], the player can blast the Octos right as they emerge from the Octopot, eliminating them. The player can also shoot the Octopot itself. After sustaining gunfire, the jar-like Octopot shatters into many small pieces, thus ceasing to exist.
