Screech's role is the same in both games, where he appears at the second half of his own level, [[Screech's Sprint]], where the [[Kong]]s must enter an [[Animal Barrel]] to transform into [[Squawks]] to race Screech, both of which compete to cross the finish line first. Screech is a brown parrot. He appears to be slightly bigger than Squawks. He has big yellow eyes with two small pupils. Screech has sharp talons, like Squawks. Though, Squawks has four claws on each talon, Screech only has three. He has a red and yellow tail with brown and red wings. Screech also has a white beak.
