During the final battle with the [[Shadow Queen]], when the Crystal Stars spread out to the locations in which they were found, the Sapphire Star returns to Keelhaul Key, where [[Pa-Patch]] and the rest of the shipwrecked crew lend their support to Mario and his team just before the final round. In the remake, they are joined by [[Dupree]] and the [[Traveling Sisters Three]].
