Alongside its regular 4-Player variant, this minigame additionally has an Endless variant that can be played in the Free Play mode in [[Minigame Bay]], in which high scores can be recorded and compared with other players online.

==Introduction==
Inside a giant picnic basket, the players look at each other until a massive ham sandwich falls in the center, shocking the players.

==Gameplay==
The players need to avoid getting squished by the massive falling sandwiches, of which there are four types: egg, ham, caprese, and cucumber. The ham and caprese sandwiches are twice as tall as the egg and cucumber ones. Players can also [[jump]] on one another to slow them down. The last player remaining, or any players who survive for 60 seconds, wins. If all players are squished at the same time, the minigame ends in a tie. In the Endless variant, there is no time limit, as the objective is simply to survive as long as possible, with sandwiches falling yet even faster as the minigame progresses. Achieving a record of 40 or more seconds in the Endless mode is required to unlock the "Sandwiches Are for Picnics" achievement. Like with other Endless minigames, the maximum recorded time is 9:59:99.

==Ending==
The players are standing next to a massive ham sandwich. Winning players perform their winning animations, while losing players do their losing animations behind them. If the minigame ends in a tie, all players will perform losing animations.
