The Ruins Keys are old keys in Super Paper Mario. They are found in the Yold Ruins. There are three Ruins Keys found throughout the level. The first key is found in a treasure chest in a small room containing two Spiky Tromps that is accessed by revealing two yellow blocks under a door in midair using the flip technique. The second key is revealed after Mario throws a Squig at a switch, causing blocks that were previously blocking it to rearrange. The third key is found on a small staircase behind a cage of blocks that is accessed using the flip technique. They are used to open locks found on doors in Yold Ruins, allowing Mario to access more of the area.
