Later uses and arrangements of the theme have been associated with the Comet Observatory's ruler [[Rosalina]].

In ''Super Mario Galaxy'', "Rosalina in the Observatory" changes as the player progresses through the game. There are three versions of the theme, and each version is more orchestral than the previous. The first version plays in the Comet Observatory until the player beats [[The Fiery Stronghold]]. The second version plays after beating The Fiery Stronghold until the player beats [[Darkness on the Horizon]]. The third and final version plays after the player beats Darkness on the Horizon.
