Items are each placed within six [[barrel]]s and shuffle around quickly. Once the barrels stop, the player can attack one of them to receive its item. If either time runs out or the barrel with [[Koopa Kid|Baby Bowser]] (replaced by [[Bowser Jr.]] in ''Mario Party Superstars'') is selected, the player loses.

Roll Out the Barrels is playable only at [[Pirate Land]] in ''Mario Party 2'', and the game also prices it at 400 [[Coin]]s to buy from [[Woody]].

The minigame title is derived from a lyric in "{{wp|Beer Barrel Polka}}," though the minigame is untitled in ''Mario Party Superstars''.
