The '''Red Fire''' is [[Mario]]'s signature [[kart]] in ''[[Mario Kart: Double Dash!!]]''. It is a default middleweight kart unlocked by default. The Red Fire has a red and blue paint job, reflecting Mario's color scheme, with his trademark letter "M" on the top of the kart and blue tires that say "Mario & [[Luigi]]". The Red Fire has average stats all around, and has the same stats as the [[Waluigi Racer]], though the Red Fire is thinner, lighter (being the same weight as the [[Heart Coach]] and [[Barrel Train]]), and less vulnerable to [[Koopa Shell|shells]] and other items. Although the stars list its acceleration as three, the Red Fire's acceleration is actually tied alongside the [[Turbo Birdo]], [[Bullet Blaster]], and [[Parade Kart]]. The Red Fire's off-road statistic is identical to the [[Turbo Yoshi]]'s. The Red Fire's counterpart is the [[Green Fire]], which is [[Luigi]]'s kart. Both has an identical engine sound to the Bullet Blaster.
