Red Chomps take the role of [[Stone Chomp]]s from the [[Paper Mario|first game]] from being the weaker counterparts of Chain Chomps in ''Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door'' and its [[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Nintendo Switch)|remake]].
