When the Record Setter was introduced, if the player raced on a course where it was possible to still be gliding after crossing the finish line while using the Record Setter, doing so would cause the Record Setter's meter to stop and not go up any farther than the distance displayed the moment the player crossed the finish line. On any course, if the player were to turn on the camera feature once they finished and wait until another glider section was reached, the meter would remain at 0 for the whole time the character was gliding.
